Above it All: A Brooklyn Bridge Tour
 

 
You've been over it 1,000 times, but how well do you really KNOW the Brooklyn Bridge?
Walk across with two Park Rangers and discover the back stories about all the
politics and maneuverings to get it underway, and the impressive engineering
breakthroughs during its construction. 


Learn about the remarkable Roebling family responsible for its creation, as 
well as less-known involvements of prominent influencers including 'Boss' 
Tweed and President Chester A. Arthur.


On the other shore, a private tour of City Hall Park will end our outing. Then,
you are welcome to return via the Brooklyn Bridge for a casual discussion with
our Rangers, or make a different choice.

Approximately 90 minutes walk
There is a steep flight of stairs from Cadman Plaza park to the
Brooklyn Bridge
