Shared Wisdom: The Future of Work

Positive Aging Initiative of the
Park Slope Jewish Center
and
Good Neighbors of Park Slope
invite you to a presentation.

Where is technology taking us?
Jacob Goldstein, popular journalist, author, and podcaster,
guides us in exploring both the creative and destructive powers of technology.
"We are worried about technology and the future of work. We want to know what AI will mean for
jobs. Jacob Goldstein will tell two stories to help us think about this question more clearly. One is
about the creation of abundant artificial light. The other is about the Luddites -- workers who were
displaced by the original industrial revolution, and who fought back with everything they had."

Jacob Goldstein is an American journalist, writer, and podcast host. He has reported for The Wall Street Journal, the Miami Herald,
and the Bozeman Daily Chronicle. He has also written for the New York Times Magazine.
He was a correspondent and a co-host of the NPR podcast Planet Money and is also the author of the 2020 book,
Money: The True Story of a Made-Up Thing.
He now hosts the podcast What’s Your Problem, and co-hosts the podcast Business History.
