Becoming a SCORE Mentor
An informational session sponsored by Good Neighbors of Park Slope and SCORE NYC
Are you a retired, semi-retired or still-working executive, professional or retail business owner looking for an interesting, rewarding and highly valued volunteer opportunity?
Consider becoming a SCORE mentor.
SCORE NYC is our local chapter of a highly respected nationwide organization that offers free, ongoing, face-to-face mentoring, support and tools to people interested in starting or expanding a small business or non-profit. SCORE NYC is currently hoping to expand its reach in Brooklyn and is actively recruiting Brooklyn volunteers.
Volunteers receive extensive training before becoming certified SCORE mentors. Hours—both during the training period and following certification--are flexible.
To learn more about SCORE and the benefits of mentoring, go to the website, scorenyc.org/volunteer
and/or join us for an informational session with two current SCORE volunteers.
