They have made many of our activities and events possible and have helped GNPS grow and succeed. We are indebted to them for their support and urge our members to support them in return.





Big Nose
Our thanks to Big Nose Full Body for providing wine for our big events.

"Big Nose Full Body is a wine shop devoted to providing the best possible customer service and ensuring that our customers get a wine they love within their budget.  We specialize in distinctive, small or medium production wines that represent the best values in their categories.  One featured bottle is available for tasting Sunday through Friday from 5-7pm.  On Saturdays from 4-6pm we host themed tastings with 3 or 4 featured wines.  All featured wines are 15% off during our tastings.  Free delivery is available within Park Slope (6 bottle minimum) and orders for delivery or pickup may be placed on our website."

Park Slope Library
Thank you to the Park Slope Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library for providing space for many of our events.

The Park Slope Branch began at the turn of the century with a small collection of natuaral history books housed in Prospect Park's Litchfield Mansion. In 1906 a Carnegie library was opened on Ninthe St. wher the library has remained with many of it's interior features intact. Open 6 days a week, it continues to be a strong community presence offering programs and informational support to the neignborhood.

Dizzy
Thank you to Matt Pisciotta for allowing GNPS use of the back room at Dizzy's on 5th to hold author talks and other events in a welcoming atmosphere complete with food and drinks.

Park Slope Parents

Park Slope Parents has been extremely generous and welcoming to us in the community.  Not only in helping us to create and maintain GNPS but the exchange of advice, ideas, events and introductions has been an invaluable resource for us.


Park Slope Parents (PSP) is a community of 5500+ families in Brooklyn, NY. Celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2017, its members have shared advice on everything from choosing childcare to camps, hairdressers to healthcare, and coping with teething, terrible twos, and tweens. They have over 100 different online groups, including pregnancy and baby groups, career networking groups, language and heritage groups, a grandparents group as well as a group for dealing with our aging parents. With over 2,000 parenting and urban living articles on their website (including information about hiring a nanny, traveling with kids, tips for going back to work after maternity leave and more) they are a trusted resource for raising kids in New York City and beyond.

Paper Moon Moves
